Ime Udoka got a rare start for the Kings on Friday, in place of injured Donte' Greene, and hit 7-of-10 shots for season highs of 19 points, 14 rebounds and four 3-pointers to go along with two assists, two steals and a block.
Wow. We're not sure where this came from, as Udoka had scored a total of 22 points in his last four games. He played 35 minutes and stepped up on a night when Omri Casspi wasn't feeling it. We're not ready to tell you to run out and pick him up, as this appears to have been a fluke. But if he somehow sticks in the starting five over the next couple games, he's probably worth a look. But with Casspi having a strong season and the pending return of Kevin Martin, it's tough to imagine Udoka offering much value.

Omri Casspi hit just 1-of-8 shots for four points and six rebounds in 31 minutes of Friday's loss to the Warriors.
Casspi gave way to Ime Udoka, who exploded for 19 points, 14 rebounds and a full stat line in a surprise start for injured Donte' Greene. Casspi is still worth owning, but given the fact he was due to cool down, as well as the pending return of Kevin Martin, he may no longer be a must-start beginning next week.

Despite rumors that Ime Udoka was on the cutting floor for the Kings, his services will be retained for the remainder of the season.
Udoka is primarily a defensive role player and he holds little value for fantasy leagues.

Ime Udoka had 13 points, five boards and three assists in Friday's loss, but missed a pair of free throws with 4.8 seconds leff that allowed Kobe Bryant to hit a game-winning three.
Udoka doesn't have much fantasy value, and went from having a chance to clinch the win to becoming the goat for the Kings tonight.

Kings swingman Ime Udoka came alive off the bench on Monday, scoring a season-high 17 points on 6-of-9 shooting, with three 3-pointers, three rebounds and one steal.
Udoka's sticky defense and hot shooting keyed a 33-10 fourth quarter that gave Sacramento a four-point victory, and we don't expect him to duplicate this line any time soon. He hadn't scored double-digit points in a game all season prior to this.

Ime Udoka played 27 minutes and hit 4-of-8 shots for eight points and six rebounds off the Kings' bench on Wednesday.
He's played 25 and 27 minutes in his last two games and could benefit from the benching of Spencer Hawes. Don't rush out to pick him up, but keep your eye on him.
