The Denver Nuggets have traded Steven Hunter and a 2010 first round draft pick to the Memphis Grizzlies.
In exchange the Nuggets receive a second round pick and freedom from $7.4 million in luxury tax penalties next season. Hunter will be buried on the depth chart in Memphis and won't see any fantasy value.

Nuggets center Steven Hunter is not likely to opt out of the final year of his contract, according to his agent.
Hunter is set to make $3.7 million, so this was a foregone conclusion. He hopes to participate in Summer League and earn a spot in the Nuggets rotation next season, after missing all of 2008-2009 with a knee injury.

Steven Hunter (knee surgery) is expected to return to practice Thursday.
He said he needs to brush up on the playbook before he'll be ready for game action. Even when that time comes, he won't be anything more than a deep reserve in the Nuggets front court.

Nuggets center Steven Hunter (knee surgery) told the Rocky Mountain News on Thursday that he's "progressing well", and he hopes to return to practice in a few weeks.
Hunter would do more to help the Nuggets' thin frontcourt, than he would do for owners in fantasy leagues.
