The Hawks signed free agent center Jason Collins on Wednesday.
He has never offered fantasy value, and never will. Ignore him on draft night.

The Hawks are close to signing free agent center Jason Collins to a one-year contract for the veteran's minimum.
The Hawks have become substantially deeper this offseason, adding Collins and Joe Smith to the frontcourt, and Jamal Crawford and Jeff Teague to the backcourt. Collins is a solid defender and started for a Finals team (the 2003 Nets), but he's unlikely to play much behind Al Horford and Zaza Pachulia.

Petro has more potential, while Collins is more of a defensive role player.

The Hawks, facing a concerning lack of frontcourt depth, will be auditioning free agent big men over the next few weeks.
The departure of Solomon Jones left Atlanta dangerously thin, and they haven't secured a committment from veteran power forward Joe Smith. Players targeted in the latest round of workouts could include Johan Petro, Jason Collins, Stromile Swift, Garret Siler and Courtney Sims. Randolph Morris is under contract but might not even make the team's rotation.

The T-Wolves will go with a veteran's starting lineup of Kevin Ollie, Mike Miller, Mark Madsen, Brian Cardinal and Jason Collins, making Minnesota yet another team that will be difficult to rely on for production on the final night of the season.
