Samuel Dalembert had just four points, seven rebounds and no blocks on Tuesday, but the Sixers beat the Wolves for their - stop the presses - fifth straight win.
Sammy D had gone 14 consecutive games with at least 10 boards, so he was due for an off night. None of the big men in this game played particularly well, so he'll hopefully start a new streak in the next one. In other words, we'd recommend hanging onto him.

Ryan Hollins had just four points and two rebounds in 16 minutes of Tuesday's blowout loss to the Sixers.
Hollins had been playing well, but this was night a good night for big men. Samuel Dalembert didn't do much for the Sixers, while Al Jefferson and Kevin Love were not great for the Wolves. Hollins is a borderline fantasy player in most leagues, but we wouldn't get too concerned about tonight's dud.

Samuel Dalembert kept his streak of games with more than 10 rebounds alive on Saturday, finishing with four points on 2-of-2 shooting with 10 rebounds, no assists, and a block.
That makes 14 games straight having double-digit boards, and he's averaged nearly 13 per game over that time. Owners using him for blocks and rebounds obviously need to keep trotting him out there, knowing that any other value he provides is just icing on the cake.

Samuel Dalembert, playing through a back injury, had seven points, 16 rebounds and three blocks in Friday's win over the Hornets. Don't look now, but the Sixers have won three straight games.
Rodney Carney, Lou Williams and Thaddeus Young all hit double digits in scoring off the bench, while Andre Iguodala filled the stat sheet in the win. Dalembert isn't a reliable scorer, but doesn't miss games and is playing for a contract. Keep running him out there.

Samuel Dalembert (back) is in the starting lineup on Friday night.
There was never much of a doubt about Sammy D's status. He hasn't missed a game since the 2005-06 season and he's not about to start considering he's finally playing up to his contract.

Samuel Dalembert (back) missed practice Thursday but is fully expected to play Friday when the Sixers face the Hornets.
"I have to play," said Dalembert, "If we were 40-10, I would have the luxury to sit down." Dalembert will be fighting a lower back strain but he sounds pretty insistent that he will play.
