The Jazz are hoping Mehmet Okur, who is scoring just 12.6 points on 42% shooting, will elevate his play in the second half of the season.
"I think he's just got to pick his tempo up ... and get himself involved a little bit more on defense and in our rebounding," said coach Jerry Sloan. "Teams have gotten to him out on the perimeter. He probably needs to pass the ball and cut to the basket a little bit more." So in short, he only needs to improve his tempo, defense, rebounding, and offense. Hmmm. Source: Salt Lake Tribune
