Earl Watson returned to a reserve role on Tuesday and had nine points, one assist and one 3-pointer in 25 minutes.
T.J. Ford is healthy again and played 32 minutes tonight. As long as Ford's back allows him to play, Watson's limited minutes are going to make him a shaky fantasy play.

The Pacers started Earl Watson at PG on Saturday, despite the return of T.J. Ford (back).
Watson had 12 points, seven assists and two blocks in 31 minutes. Not a bad showing by any means, but his starting gig is by no means secure. Feel free to pick him up, but don't cut anyone too valuable for a potential short-term starter.

Earl Watson has been the hot hand for the Pacers recently shooting 56% from the floor and a blazing hot 60% from behind the arc.
Watson attributes his hot shooting to the fact that he is fully recovered from a hand injury which hampered him last season. Starting point guard T.J. Ford is questionable for Saturday making Watson a decent pick up if you're looking for a point guard.

T.J. Ford, who left Wednesday's game with back spasms, is questionable for Saturday's game against the Celtics.
The team is expected to know more after evaluating Ford on Thursday. "If they can get me moving, I'll be out there," Ford said. If he can't play, Earl Watson will get the start. We may not have any information on Ford's status until Friday night, as the Pacers were given the day off on Thursday.

Earl Watson played 35 minutes after T.J. Ford left with back spasms and finished with 16 points, six rebounds, three assists, three steals and three 3-pointers Wednesday.
Given Ford's history of back injuries, and the abrupt manner in which he headed for the locker room, Watson's worth grabbing and stashing in most leagues.

T.J. Ford left Wednesday's game with back spasms and will not return.
He was off to a hot start and was looking at a huge line against the Warriors. Now his owners just have to hope he returns for the next one. Earl Watson played well in his absence and would be worth a pickup if Ford's back injury persists.
