Mike James got his first action since November 7, playing 19 minutes and scoring 11 points on 4-of-11 shooting (including two 3-pointers) with one rebound, two assists, and two steals on Sunday.
This is pure speculation, but James may get auditioned for a trade in the upcoming weeks, and depending on if he lands somewhere favorable he could gain some fantasy value. However, making a move to acquire him based on that type of speculation would be entirely ill-advised at this point.

Veteran point guard Mike James feels disrespected by the Wizards' decision to keep him out of the rotation despite the absence of Gilbert Arenas and Javaris Crittenton.
"This is the toughest situation of my career," James says. "I've never been treated like this." His role isn't likely to increase any time soon, and a trade might be the best resolution for all parties.

The Chicago Sun-Times is reporting that the Bulls and Wizards are discussing a trade that would send Caron Butler to the Bulls for Kirk Hinrich.
The deal may also include the expiring contracts of Jerome and Mike James, although the contracts of Butler and Hinrich are close enough to make the deal work on their own. If consummated, Butler shouldn't take a hit in value with the trade, although Hinrich may (depending on Gilbert Arenas' status). Stay tuned.

Mike James has been activated by the Wizards for Monday's game.
He has played in just one game this year, but is finally back after breaking his left ring finger. Randy Foye is bothered by a sore knee, but is playing through it.

Mike James (finger), whose name has been floated in trade rumors recently, is reportedly healthy despite being inactive for Thursday's game against the Celtics.
When asked about playing James coach Flip Saunders said, "I haven't even thought about it. He's had one practice. He hasn't been around for five weeks and right now we've got a lot of people at that spot." James would need a change of scenery to have any fantasy value.

Wizards guard Mike James has been recently mentioned in trade rumors with his former team the Miami Heat.
The Wizards are overloaded with guards and the Heat are in desperate need of some point guard help. Quentin Richardson and Udonis Haslem have been mentioned as possible trade bait but neither seem likely to leave. It's likely that a third team would need to get involved to meet both team's parameters for a trade.
