While the current remedy for the ruptured disc in Tayshaun Prince's back is rest, surgery is not being ruled out, and he isn't expected back for the foreseeable future.
The Pistons learned of the injury on Tuesday, and after it initially responded well to treatment, it wasn't long before his back flared up again.
