 Carl Landry-F/C- RocketsDec. 20 - 6:17 pm et
The Houston Chronicle reported that "had Carl Landry been out for more than just Saturday's game," that they would have signed D-Leaguer Mike Harris as the result of Chase Budinger's ankle injury.
Landry's status for Tuesday's game had been in doubt, and while this is a roundabout way for his status to be reported, we like his chances after reading this. If he doesn't play, the Rockets will be down to Chuck Hayes and David Andersen in their frontcourt -- not a pretty sight.

 Chase Budinger-G/F - Rockets Dec. 20 - 6:14 pm et

Chase Budinger will miss the next two to three weeks with an ankle injury he suffered during Saturday's game.
Interestingly, the report states "had forward Carl Landry been out for more than just Saturday's game," they would have signed Mike Harris from the D-League, but did not. So, apparently Landry will be back to compensate for Budinger's absence, but also look for David Andersen to get a few more minutes.

 David Andersen-F/C - Rockets Dec. 19 - 1:43 am et

David Andersen hit 7-of-16 shots for 16 points, three rebounds and a 3-pointer in Friday's win.
He got some extra run with Carl Landry in the hospital after losing three teeth, and scored 17 in his last game. Go ahead and grab him if you need a big man, as it's possible Landry could miss a few games with his injury.
 Carl Landry-F/C - Rockets Dec. 18 - 9:50 pm et

Carl Landry took an inadvertant, yet hard elbow from Dirk Nowitzki and lost three teeth on Friday night.
He's left the arena to go to the emergency room to have the problem taken care of, and will not return. He finished with two points in six minutes before leaving, and Shane Battier and David Andersen might be worth a four-game pickup for next week if Landry's going to miss some time.
 David Andersen-F/C - Rockets Dec. 17 - 1:24 am et

David Andersen had 17 points and nine rebounds in Wednesday's loss to the Nuggets.
He had scored six or less points in his previous six games, so don't get too excited about this one. Chase Budinger, who had been playing well, scored just two points in 14 minutes tonight. Just keep an eye on Andersen.
 David Andersen-F/C - Rockets Nov. 29 - 9:58 pm et

David Andersen got extended run with Luis Scola out for most of Sunday's game after getting poked in the eye, and finished with 12 points, eight rebounds, and two assists in 29 minutes.
Andersen could have some value if Scola is out for any period of time. Even if Scola misses time, however, he would only be worth a look in deep leagues and expectations should be kept in check.
