Mickael Pietrus returned from an ankle sprain Friday and had four points in 14 minutes.
He wasn't doing much before he was injured, and Matt Barnes (6 points, 28 minutes) is actually a much better option.

Mickael Pietrus (ankle) participated in the team shootaround this morning and is expected to play Friday night versus the Wizards.
Pietrus' value is minimal even if he does play. Only give him play if you're desperate for threes.

Jameer Nelson (left knee) and Mickael Pietrus (right ankle) put in full practices Thursday and appear ready to play against the Wizards on Friday.
Nelson ends up just missing one full game with this latest knee problem, but it remains a major concern. We're still advising you shop him as soon as he has a good game. Pietrus has fallen off the fantasy radar even when healthy as he averaged 7.5 points and 3.2 boards while playing just 19 minutes a game in January.

Pietrus was having a fine game before going down with this injury, but he's been slumping lately and hasn't had reliable fantasy value. Consider him day-to-day.

Jameer Nelson (knee) and Mickael Pietrus (ankle) are not expected to miss time in Week 15 with their injuries.
Both players are day-to-day and despite the fact Pietrus said he might miss a week, swelling was minimal on Monday and GM Otis Smith said he thinks both players will be able to go on Tuesday.

Mickael Pietrus will probably miss about a week with the ankle injury he suffered in Sunday's win over the Pistons.
He was having one of his better games in the past few weeks before rolling his ankle on a made 3-pointer. We'll get a clearer timetable in the next few days, but in the meantime Matt Barnes gets a bit of a boost in the quest for his lost fantasy relevance.
