Mickael Pietrus suffered from a fever Wednesday night but is reported to be fully recovered in time for Friday night's game against Boston.
Pietrus is a shaky fantasy play as it is. If all you need is threes he might be a decent play, but it's worth checking before the game to make sure he's up for it tonight.

Mickael Pietrus had 10 points, six rebounds and two assists in a start for Orlando on Monday.
Pietrus logged 32 minutes and all three of his FGs were 3-pointers. He's worth owning while playing 30-plus minutes, but there's no telling how long that will last.

Mickael Pietrus is expected to start at SF for the short-handed Magic on Monday.
Rashard Lewis will make his season debut at PF, and it will be interesting to watch how minutes get divided between Pietrus, Matt Barnes, Ryan Anderson, and Brandon Bass.

Coach Stan Van Gundy said that Matt Barnes will start at PF against the Nets Friday night, and Mickael Pietrus will start at SF. Brandon Bass is out with the flu.
"It makes substituting easy because you've got no choices," Van Gundy said. Marcin Gortat is also likely to see time at PF as the Magic await Rashard Lewis' Monday return.

Stan Van Gundy has said that Rashard Lewis will play power forward upon his return to the Magic next Monday.
That is bad news for Brandon Bass and Ryan Anderson, while Matt Barnes could end up winning the starting small forward job permanently. Mickael Pietrus will also compete for the job, but both players suddenly look much more relevant with this news.

Mickael Pietrus scored 15 points on 4-of-9 shooting (2-of-2 from downtown) with two rebounds, one assist, and three steals against the Thunder on Sunday.
Pietrus was one of the few bright spots for the Magic tonight, but even he had his problems from the foul line, shooting just 5-of-11 from the stripe. Like everybody on the Magic not named Dwight, Vince, or Jameer, his value is set to dip when Rashard Lewis returns from suspension.
