The Timberwolves officially signed swingman Sasha Pavlovic on Thursday.
He shouldn't be anything more than a back up, but then again, the Wolves are pretty thin at the wings and anything is possible in Minnesota. Keep your eye on him in camp.

Free agent Sasha Pavlovic has agreed in principle to a one-year, $1.4 million deal with the Timberwolves, according to Yahoo! Sports.
The Wolves under GM David Kahn continue to aggressively reshape the roster, and Pavlovic should prove an adequate backup at both SG and SF.

The Suns and Sasha Pavlovic have agreed on a contract buyout that will save the franchise about $500,000.
Pavlovic was only guaranteed $1.5 million for the season, and the Suns savings (they paid $1.25 million) is essentially doubled because of the luxury tax they would have incurred. It's probable that he'll latch on with another team before the season starts.

Sasha Pavlovic's agent is exploring deals with three or four teams, and a deal could be struck as early as this week.
The Suns still own Pavlovic's rights, but fully intend to buy out his contract for $1.5 million -- by keeping him on the roster as long as possible, they reserve the right to work out a sign-and-trade.

Newly acquired shooting guard Sasha Pavlovic is not in the Suns plans for the future.
Phoenix can keep Pavlovic on the roster for 52 days of the upcoming season before it becomes cost effective to buy him out for $1.5 million, and the plan appears to be to use his $5 million contract as a trade chip in December.

The trade that sent Shaquille O'Neal to the Cavaliers for Ben Wallace, Sasha Pavlovic, $500,000 and the No. 46 pick is now official, according to ESPN.
The Suns are not done, and are rumored to be talking about a deal that would send Amare Stoudemire to the Rockets for a package including Tracy McGrady. With the sudden lack of bigs in Phoenix, look for them to target someone like OSU center B.J. Mullens in tonight's draft.
