Tim Thomas hit 5-of-10 shots for 11 points, seven rebounds, two assists and a steal in Friday's win.
He could have a little value in deeper leagues for as long as Josh Howard is out, so keep an eye on him.

 Josh Howard-G/F - Mavericks Nov. 20 - 4:42 am et

Josh Howard said Thursday that the rehab on his injured left ankle is "going well."
"It's getting better, and I'm going to try to be out there real soon," he said. Just to make his owners feel better he also said he probably rushed back too fast from off-season surgery adding, "at the time, it felt like it was OK." Hopefully this time around he gets it right.

Josh Howard (ankle) could be out until the end of December, according to ESPNDallas.com.
That could be a worst-case scenario, but at this point Howard's owners almost have to expect the worst. He will continue to travel and practice with the team, and according to coach Rick Carlisle, "He will rehab even more aggressively than he has in the past." Stash him on your bench, as long as you can afford the dead weight.

 Josh Howard-G/F - Mavericks Nov. 13 - 1:24 pm et

Josh Howard will go on the inactive list indefinitely, coach Rick Carlisle said after Friday's shootaround. Howard has been bothered by an ankle injury since the summer.
"There's no definite time period [for his return]," said Carlisle. Howard returned from the injury this week and played decently in two games, but the ankle started bothering him again Wednesday. Howard insists he did not reinjure the ankle, and simply needs to give it more time to heal. Either way, very discouraging news for fantasy owners.

 Josh Howard-G/F - Mavericks Nov. 12 - 9:57 am et

Josh Howard was pulled from Wednesday's game with 8:46 to go in the third quarter after limping on his surgically repaired left ankle.
"He was limping, so we took him out," coach Rick Carlisle said. "It's the first back-to-back [games for Howard]. We'll evaluate it and treat it accordingly. He's had some soreness. It's no secret." Consider him questionable for Friday's game at Minnesota.

 Josh Howard-G/F - Mavericks Nov. 12 - 2:49 am et

Josh Howard hit just 2-of-11 shots for eight points, five boards and a 3-pointer in Wednesday's loss to the Spurs.
The good news is that Howard is back, but he's bound to be a little rusy after missing most of the preseason while recovering from ankle surgery. He'll eventually become a reliable fantasy play, if he doesn't suffer a setback with the ankle.
