 Josh Howard-G/F- MavericksFeb. 9 - 11:49 pm et
Josh Howard started at SF for the ailing Mavericks on Tuesday, notching 14 points, three rebounds and one assist in a crushing loss to the Nuggets.
Dallas was never competitive in this game, and the Howard-as-starting-SF experiment won't last once Shawn Marion is healthy enough to play. On the plus side, Howard has scored double-digit points in four consecutive games and is showing signs of life as we head into the final months of the season.

 Josh Howard-G/F - Mavericks Feb. 9 - 1:48 am et

Josh Howard scored a season-high 25 points on 7-of-12 FGs and 10-of-12 FTs in Monday's win, adding one 3-pointer, three rebounds and one assist.
Another season-high in scoring? The opponent, of course, was the Warriors. Nevertheless, Howard was very aggressive and he played 37 minutes -- both signs that he's getting healthier. He's been playing poorly all year, mostly because of injuries, and was recently linked via trade rumors with the Wizards and 76ers.
 Josh Howard-G/F - Mavericks Feb. 7 - 1:46 am et

The Mavericks are "heavily involved in talks with numerous teams" in anticipation of the Feb. 18 trade deadline.
Potential targets include Caron Butler, Brendan Haywood, Andre Iguodala, or one of the 76ers big men. Most sources expect the Mavs to make a move before the deadline, though it may not be the blockbuster some fans are hoping for -- stay tuned.

 Josh Howard-G/F - Mavericks Feb. 5 - 11:41 pm et

Josh Howard started over Dirk Nowitzki, who came off the bench after arriving late to Friday's shootaround.
Howard had 11 points and six rebounds on 4-of-11 shooting, and while he's probably worth owning, he's not a guy who should be in many fantasy lineups right now.
 Josh Howard-G/F - Mavericks Feb. 4 - 12:48 am et

Josh Howard bounced back from an 11-minute game on Monday to hit 9-of-15 shots and a 3-pointer on his way to 19 points in Wednesday's win over the Warriors.
The Warriors should just change their name to Slumpbusters. We still don't trust Howard very much, but this line probably means he should not be sitting on waiver wires tomorrow morning.
 Josh Howard-G/F - Mavericks Feb. 1 - 11:31 pm et

Josh Howard played a season-low 11 minutes off the Mavericks bench on Monday, contributing just two points, three rebounds, two turnovers and three personal fouls.
This was an ugly performance from Howard, who clearly hasn't regained his old form after dealing with an ankle injury for most of the season. Games like this aren't helping his trade value either, more bad news for frustrated fantasy owners. If the Feb. 18 deadline passes and he's still in Dallas, think about cutting bait.
