Luke Walton was in uniform for the Lakers on Tuesday -- he played six minutes off the bench, finishing with four points, one rebound and one steal.
Walton was out for almost two months with a pinched nerve in his back, and he'll be brought along slowly. His role is inherently limited anyway, so fantasy owners shouldn't give him much thought.

Luke Walton (back) is targeting Friday for his return, but may be available as soon as tonight.
Walton could be forced to dress tonight with Adam Morrison dealing with a sore throat. Walton won't see much more than 6-10 minutes per game even when his back gets to full strength.

We don't expect him to have much value when he returns, but owners in very deep leagues might need to take a look at him.

Luke Walton (back) returned to practice on Thursday, and the Lakers are hoping he will be available for next week's games.
"He’s looking really good. He’s close to playing," said coach Phil Jackson, adding "next week we hope he’s back on the court fully." Walton has no value in fantasy leagues, but may be able to take some minutes away from Lamar Odom and Ron Artest.

Luke Walton (back) is hoping to be cleared to practice after he meets doctors Monday morning.
"I feel great, my back feels great," Walton said. "So hopefully all will go well with the doctor [Monday] and I can get back out there and practice." The Lakers can use him more than fantasy owners can, especially with Kobe Bryant playing heavy minutes in Ron Artest's absence.
