Peyton Manning completed 26-of-39 passes for 377 yards and three touchdowns as the Colts came from behind to beat the Jets 30-17 in Sunday's AFC title game and advance to Super Bowl XLIV.
Manning was shaken early by "exotic blitz packages and different looks" the Jets promised coming in, and the Colts got down 17-6 with less than two minutes left in the second quarter. Engineering a picturesque two-minute drill to close out the half, however, Manning hit Austin Collie for a 46-yard bomb down the middle and 16-yard touchdown to close the gap at intermission. The Colts would go onto score 24 unanswered to make just the franchise's second Super Bowl appearance since it moved from Baltimore in 1984.
