Ricky Williams joined Walter Payton, Emmitt Smith and Ottis Anderson as the only running backs in the past 25 years to top 1,000 yards after age 32.
Williams faded with overuse down the stretch, but he finished as the No. 7 fantasy back this year behind 1,385 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns. Williams reiterated that he plans to use next season "to really cherish and enjoy it so I can make my last year something special."

Ricky Williams rushed 12 times for 31 yards and caught three passes for four yards in Sunday's loss to the Steelers.
Williams' season ends with a whimper, but he was very impressive both before and after Ronnie Brown (knee) went down in Week 9. Over the final eight games, he racked up four 100-yard games and five touchdowns. He has said he wants to return for one more season before retiring and his fantasy value will be dependent on how Brown's rehab goes.

Ricky Williams (shoulder) is active for Sunday's game against the Steelers.
Williams will start, but we expect to see plenty of Lex Hilliard. The two backs split reps in practice this week and the Dolphins need a miracle to make the playoffs. Also, third stringer Kory Sheets is active. It's a situation to avoid against the Steelers' stout run defense.

Jason La Canfora reported on NFL Network that Ricky Williams (shoulder) is expected to play on Sunday against the Steelers.
Williams was limited in practice all week after injuring his shoulder last week. Ricky won't see a very heavy workload and Lex Hilliard may wind up seeing more carries by game's end.

Ricky Williams (questionable, shoulder) was limited in Friday's practice.
The Fins aren't planning to give Ricky a full workload even if he's active. Avoid this situation in fantasy leagues that extend into Week 17. Lex Hilliard might end up with more carries against Pittsburgh's No. 1 run defense.

Williams has been splitting practice reps with Lex Hilliard this week. While all signs point toward Ricky starting Sunday, he's a risky fantasy option in a possible timeshare against the Steelers' stout run defense.
