 Lance Briggs-LB- BearsDec. 9 - 9:24 am et
Bears WLB Lance Briggs (knee, hip) is expected to practice fully this week and start against the Packers Sunday.
It's going to be tough to send Jamar Williams and his 20-tackle performance from last week back to the bench, but Briggs is the Bears' best player on the front seven. There is a chance Williams could end up on the strong side if Hunter Hillenmeyer (groin) can't go and Nick Roach shifts to the middle.

 Lance Briggs-LB - Bears Dec. 3 - 5:30 pm et

The Bears have ruled WLB Lance Briggs (knee) and LT Orlando Pace (groin) out for Sunday's game against the Rams.
Briggs, who has a hip pointer in addition to a mild knee strain, will be replaced by Jamar Williams. It's an upgrade for Steven Jackson's matchup. Pace will be replaced on the blind side by Chris Williams while Kevin Shaffer enters at right tackle.

Bears WLB Lance Briggs (knee, hip) will likely be a game-time decision for Sunday's game against the Rams.
Briggs has a mild left knee sprain and a hip pointer. If Briggs can't go, Jamar Williams will start and newly signed Cato June will serve as insurance.

Bears WLB Lance Briggs suffered a sprained left knee in Sunday's loss to the Vikings.
Briggs was in and out of the lineup all day before finally shutting it down. He'll be re-evaluated Monday and his status for Week 13 against the Rams is unknown.

 Lance Briggs-LB - Bears Sep. 14 - 4:56 pm et

Bears WLB Lance Briggs says he will not move to middle linebacker following Brian Urlacher's season-ending injury.
Briggs has never played inside in his six-year career. He's still a better bet for tackles with Urlacher gone because likely replacement Hunter Hillenmeyer is slower to the ball. Briggs should be a top-ten LB the rest of the way.

 Lance Briggs-LB - Bears Apr. 28 - 6:37 pm et

The Bears confirmed that WLB Lance Briggs' hand injury is not serious.
Briggs got his annual bizarre offseason event out of the way early, cutting himself with a straight-edged razor presumably over the weekend. He's resumed practicing and remains a safe bet to lead Chicago in tackles.
