 Edgerrin James-RB- SeahawksNov. 4 - 4:56 pm et
Ex-Seahawk Edgerrin James passed through waivers Wednesday, and is now an unrestricted free agent.
There will be scant interest, if any, in the 31-year-old. He proved in a seven-game stint with Seattle that his days in the league are numbered. Edge showed no burst, averaging 2.7 yards per carry while breaking few tackles.

 Edgerrin James-RB - Seahawks Nov. 3 - 5:22 pm et

Seahawks released RB Edgerrin James.
This should be the end of the line for the potential Hall of Famer. The 31-year-old was averaging just 2.7 yards on 46 carries compared to 5.7 for Justin Forsett and 3.9 for starter Julius Jones. Forsett moves up to No. 2 on the depth chart, with Louis Rankin as the third back. James is unlikely to draw interest as a free agent.

 Julius Jones-RB - Seahawks Oct. 18 - 7:29 pm et

Julius Jones managed just five yards on five carries in Week 6.
Falling behind early and getting crushed in the time of possession battle (Seattle only had it for 17:10 Sunday) doesn't allow for many rushing attempts. Justin Forsett and Edgerrin James had only three touches apiece, so it was hard to tell if Jones is in danger of losing touches. He's had three straight terrible games, averaging just 2.28 yards per carry over that span.

Edgerrin James rushed 16 times for 46 yards and added one reception for seven yards against the Jags in Week 5.
The rushing yardage was his highest total since joining Seattle, but much of it came in garbage time to run out the clock. He remains clearly behind starter Julius Jones.
 Julius Jones-RB - Seahawks Oct. 4 - 4:46 pm et

Julius Jones rushed 11 times for 25 yards and caught three passes for 10 yards in Week 4 against the Colts.
Jones got a heavy workload early, but touched the ball just four times in the second half as the Seahawks tried to play catch-up. Edgerrin James got just four carries despite making his well-received return to Indianapolis, so Jones' status as the No. 1 guy seems secure.
 Justin Forsett-RB - Seahawks Sep. 27 - 12:30 am et

Edgerrin James is still the Seahawks' No. 2 back, according to beat writer Danny O'Neil.
Even if this is true, Justin Forsett is closing the gap quickly. Forsett is simply the better running back at this point. O'Neil says that Forsett is still just the third-down back. We'll see, but there's no doubt Forsett is worth an add in most leagues. We're expecting Seneca Wallace to check down to him plenty on Sunday.
