Beat writer Armando Salguero expects the Dolphins to "absolutely discuss" trading for Anquan Boldin.
Brandon Marshall isn't a Bill Parcells/Tony Sparano kind of player, but Salguero believes the Dolphins appreciate Boldin because "he's tough, he's big, and he is not a diva." Though the Cardinals are expected to ask for a second-rounder, it's believed that Boldin could ultimately be had for a third.

Acknowledging that wide receiver is a priority this offseason, Ravens GM Ozzie Newsome indicated that he's "open" to trading players or draft picks to acquire an upgrade.
The Ravens need a big, physical receiver to push Derrick Mason into the No. 2 role. Anquan Boldin and Brandon Marshall both fit the description, though coaches' nightmare Marshall comes with a sizable character risk. The injury-prone Boldin would come at a lower cost in players and/or draft picks.

According to beat writer Mike Preston, the Ravens would only bring Derrick Mason back as a No. 2 receiver.
The Ravens need a bigger, faster No. 1 receiver to push Mason down the depth chart and Mark Clayton out of the rotation. Anquan Boldin, Brandon Marshall, Antonio Bryant, and Terrell Owens are expected to be available beginning in March.

Beat writer Kent Somers expects the Cardinals to be "earnest in their efforts to trade" Anquan Boldin this offseason.
Their best offer last year was reportedly a third-round pick and another player, and Somers suspects that offer might be enough to do the trick this time around. Boldin, 29, has been injury prone as he enters the final year of his contract. The Cardinals are 6-2 without him over the past two years, and they're confident in Steve Breaston and Early Doucet replacing his production.

 Matt Leinart-QB - Cardinals Jan. 21 - 10:21 am et

Matt Leinart's inaccuracy has "eroded confidence among the receiving corps," according to Cardinals beat writer Kent Somers.
Not only does Leinart diminish their playmaking ability, his high throws make them targets for big hits. Per Somers, the offense "will no doubt change" if Leinart takes over, with the running game taking center stage. With Beanie Wells emerging as an explosive runner, the Cardinals' pass-heavy offense could be on its last legs.

Anquan Boldin said Saturday night that he would not request a trade this offseason, heading into the final year of his contract.
"I'm going to let it play out," said Boldin. Scheduled to make $3 million in 2010, he has been quiet on the issue of his contract since changing agents to Tom Condon. The Cardinals are sure to explore the trade market this offseason with the oft-injured Boldin pushing age 30 and Early Doucet emerging as a passable replacement. The Dolphins or Ravens could probably land him with a second round pick.
