Texans CB Dunta Robinson was fined $25,000 by the team for wearing "Pay me Rick" on his shoes in Sunday's opener.
Robinson apologized for the action on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough to save him from the hit to his wallet. "It was over a long time ago," said Robinson. "I've moved on. Me and Rick don't have a problem. I'm focused on Tennessee [this Sunday]."

Texans CB Dunta Robinson apologized Monday for wearing "Pay Me" and "Rick" (referring to Texans GM Rick Smith) on his shoes for Sunday's opener.
"It was regrettable," Robinson said. "I didn't put that much thought into it. It didn't mean that much to me. If it offended anybody, I apologize. It wasn't (meant to be) that serious at all." Robinson won't wear the shoes again. If he doesn't play better than he did in Week 1, Rick probably won't pay him either.

Coach Gary Kubiak said he was "disappointed" to learn that disgruntled CB Dunta Robinson wore "Pay Me" and "Rick" (referring to Texans GM Rick Smith) on his shoes for Sunday's opener.
Robinson proceeded to get burnt all over the field by a weak Jets wideout corps. "I found out after the game," Kubiak said. "It's been dealt with as an organization." Kubiak said that Robinson will not be suspended.

The Texans announced upon re-signing franchise player Dunta Robinson that he will move into the starting lineup "effective immediately."
He must've stayed in pretty good shape during his holdout. The strength and conditioning staff did put Robinson through several drills Sunday to gauge his fitness. Still, Robinson will start against the Jets after taking no reps in camp. He and Fred Bennett could be liabilities on the corners early.

As expected, Texans CB Dunta Robinson ended his holdout and was at practice Sunday morning.
The Texans won this standoff. Robinson, who didn't want to be the team's franchise player, signed his one-year contract for $9.957 million. It's unclear how long it will take him to get ready to play in games, but we're thinking it won't be in time for Week 1.

Holdout CB Dunta Robinson will report to the Texans Sunday.
Robinson was upset that the Texans made him their franchise player. But the team didn't budge, and he'll now sign a one-year contract for $9.957 million, which is the average of the top five cornerback salaries in the NFL. He could practice as soon as tomorrow but it will undoubtedly take some time to get in game shape.
