Packers rookie DL B.J. Raji left Sunday's win with an ankle injury and did not return.
This is the same ankle that Raji hurt in the preseason. The original injury bothered Raji for more than a month and has at least in part kept him behind Ryan Pickett, Johnny Jolly and Cullen Jenkins on the depth chart.

Packers rookie DL B.J. Raji revealed he spoke to coach Mike McCarthy about his playing time before he left town for the bye week.
Raji has struggled with an ankle injury and has played sparingly in the two games he has been active for. He was projected as a starter right out of the gate but is playing behind Ryan Pickett at nose tackle and Johnny Jolly and Cullen Jenkins at defensive end.

Packers DL B.J. Raji (ankle) worked out Monday and could make his NFL debut Sunday.
Cornerback Will Blackmon (quadriceps) also tested his injury Monday after being inactive in Week 1. "I think they’re close," Packers coach Mike McCarthy said. "They feel great, but we’ll see how they do Wednesday at practice."

Raji was limited in practice this week with an ankle injury and wasn't able to shake off the soreness Sunday afternoon. CB Will Blackmon, RB Brandon Jackson, CB Brandon Underwood, FB Quinn Johnson, LB Brad Jones, C Evan Dietrich-Smith and RT Breno Giacomini are also inactive for the Pack.

Raji insists he's "definitely going to play" as a rotational lineman against the Bears, but coach Mike McCarthy wasn't quite as gung-ho. He'll likely be a game-time decision.

Packers first-round pick B.J. Raji (ankle) is out for Sunday night's game.
Tuesday tests on Raji's ankle didn't show anything positive and he isn't cleared to practice. Raji was not pushing Ryan Pickett to start at nose tackle, so the loss isn't major. He is still slated for a big role by midseason.
