Reggie Wayne said his right knee "wasn't bothering me at all" during the Super Bowl loss to the Saints.
Wayne was a complete non-factor and even appeared to alligator arm a pass in the end zone on the Colts' final offensive play. But he says the knee wasn't an issue and we believe him. He remarkably hasn't missed a regular season game since 2001 (his rookie year) and we don't see any signs of decline heading into 2010.

Reggie Wayne caught just five passes for 46 yards in the Colts' Super Bowl XLIV loss to New Orleans.
Be it because of his aggravated knee injury or simply tight coverage by the Saints' defensive backs, Wayne was hardly a factor in the game. New Orleans consistently shaded a safety over the top on Wayne's side of the field, and he was unable to get open deep. Wayne still finished 2009 as the No. 1 fantasy receiver and is showing no signs of decline at age 31.

Reggie Wayne (knee) confirmed that he's ready to play in Sunday's Super Bowl, according to ESPN's Suzy Kolber.
Wayne's status was never really in doubt. Expect him to play a full complement of snaps and have a major impact on the game.

Reggie Wayne is listed as "probable" after leaving Friday's practice with a tweaked right knee.
Wayne "stopped short" while running a pass route, which is sure to infuriate Frank Costanza. He played through the injury to the "fat pad" in his knee for much of 2009. The Colts do not seemed concerned about Wayne's status for Sunday's game. He was able to participate in Saturday's practice/walk-through.

Colts RE Dwight Freeney (ankle) did not practice on Friday and is listed as questionable for Super Bowl XLIV.
Freeney said Thursday that he hoped to "test" his torn ankle ligament in Friday's practice, but it didn't happen. He'll play on passing downs at best against New Orleans. Meanwhile, CB Jerraud Powers (questionable, foot) was limited in the workout. Reggie Wayne (knee) was limited, but SI.com's Peter King reports he's in no apparent danger of missing the Super Bowl.

Wayne has yet to miss practice with the injury. He be can be counted on to play his full complement of snaps against Jabari Greer and the Saints.
