Beat writer Darin Gantt believes Muhsin Muhammad's 14-year run as a productive receiver is "over."

Muhsin Muhammad was held to 27 yards on three catches against the Dolphins in Week 11.
Muhammad was targeted just five times and remains more important to the offense as a blocker than receiver. It's time to kick him back to the waiver wire if you picked him up after last week's fluke performance.

Muhsin Muhammad said he thinks he still has some years left of good football and isn't thinking about retiring.
Muhammad is flying high off his six catch, 91 yard performance last week. That was the most yards he's had since Week 4 of the 2008 season. Muhammad remains an excellent blocker but the Panthers sorely need a threat in his spot to take attention away from Steve Smith. Muhammad's contract is up after this season.

Muhsin Muhammad caught six passes for 91 yards against the Falcons in Week 10.
Muhammad responded well to his three weeks of rest, showing more life in his legs than he has in any game this season. The receptions and yardage are both season highs, but we'd hold off on rushing to the waiver wire to pick up the second option in a run-first offense.

Moose put in a complete practice week and will return from his two-week absence. He's averaging just 9.1 YPC, however, and isn't a fantasy option.

The complete practice indicates that Moose is on track to return in Week 10, despite a report that he'd likely miss another few weeks. If Muhammad faces the Falcons, Dwayne Jarrett will resume his third wide receiver role.
