Colts C Jeff Saturday's new three-year contract includes a $7.25 million signing bonus and is worth up to $13.3 million.
Baltimore got a steal with Matt Birk's deal. He and Saturday are about the same age, but Birk has three more Pro Bowls. Saturday can collect $10.9M in the first two seasons. He counts $3.98 million against this year's cap.

Colts agreed to terms with C Jeff Saturday on a three-year contract.
Saturday, 34, was ready to test the market, but he's a favorite of new coach Jim Caldwell. With the Colts drafting three centers last season and Saturday losing a step in run-blocking, they may have been better off letting him ply his wares elsewhere.

Free agent C Jeff Saturday wants to play for the Steelers, and he's willing to move to guard to make it happen.
Pittsburgh has Justin Hartwig at center while guard Chris Kemoeatu is a free agent. The Steelers would be better off re-signing Kemoeatu as opposed to trying the 34-year-old Saturday at a different position.

The Bengals are expected to show interest in impending free agent C Jeff Saturday.
Bengals center Eric Ghiaciuc has been a weak link, often overmatched against bigger nose tackles. Saturday, 34, could hold down the position for a year or two while Cincy develops a draft pick.

ESPN's John Clayton reports that C Jeff Saturday will test free agency after he and the Colts failed to reach a contract agreement.
The writing was on the wall when Indianapolis drafted three centers last April. Saturday turns 34 in June and offensive linemen often prove to be products of the system when they leave the Colts, so he'll be a risky signing.

New coach Jim Caldwell said Thursday at the Combine that he wants free agent Jeff Saturday back on the Colts.
Caldwell called reports of Saturday retiring "premature." "We’ll see if we can put together a package where we get him back on the field," the coach added.
