Matt Schaub and Andre Johnson became the first teammates since 1998 to lead the league in passing yards and receiving yards.
Johnson also became the second receiver in history to lead the league in yards for consecutive seasons, joining Jerry Rice. Schaub's 4,770 yards were the sixth-highest total in history as the offense set team records for points (388) and yards gained (6,129).

Texans owner Bob McNair confirmed to the Houston Chronicle Sunday that Gary Kubiak will return as the team's head coach in 2010.
Getting that first winning season helped. Kubiak is 31-33 in four years as the Texans' head coach, but the franchise had never finished better than 8-8. Kubiak's return bodes well for the future fantasy outlooks of Matt Schaub, Andre Johnson, and Owen Daniels. Houston has finished the regular season with a top-five overall offense for the second straight year.

Andre Johnson caught six passes for 65 yards against the Patriots in Week 17.
Johnson had a shot at a short touchdown, but physical corner Shawn Springs covered him well. Clearing the 100-catch mark for the third time in four years, Johnson finished as the No. 1 fantasy receiver this season. Joining Marvin Harrison as the only receivers with back-to-back 1,500-yard seasons, Johnson totaled 101 catches for 1,569 yards and nine scores.

Randy Moss was left off the AFC Pro Bowl roster.
Teammate Wes Welker was elected as a reserve along with Brandon Marshall while Andre Johnson and Reggie Wayne were named starters. Moss has more yards, yards per catch, touchdowns and first downs than Marshall, though Vincent Jackson has perhaps an even more legit claim to the final spot.

Andre Johnson went over the 1,500-yard mark Sunday, joining Marvin Harrison as the only receivers in NFL history to accomplish the feat in back-to-back seasons.
Johnson is attracting all kinds of double coverage, but the Texans have done a nice job of freeing him up to take advantage of mismatches with nickel corners. He's the No. 1 fantasy receiver this season after finishing No. 2 last season.

Andre Johnson caught five passes for 71 yards and a touchdown against the Dolphins in Week 16.
The Texans forced Johnson into a mismatch with nickelback Nate Jones early on, and the All Pro cruised to 62 yards and a score by halftime. Like the rest of the offense, he was shut down by lethargy and ineffectiveness in the second half. Johnson remains a Top-3 option against the Pats next week.
