Coach Jeff Fisher announced that CB Nick Harper (arm) will rejoin the starting lineup when he returns to game action either this week or next.
Rod Hood has played well in his place, but the Titans are placing more emphasis on the past three years than the past three games. With nickel back Vincent Fuller now healthy, Hood will be pushed into a special teams role.

Titans CB Nick Harper has been medically cleared to return from his broken forearm, but still isn't playing in games.
This isn't the way the 35-year-old planned his contract season. Harper, 35, did not play well before his injury and has been replaced in the starting lineup by in-season pickup Roderick Hood. Harper won't be back in 2010.

Titans CB Rod Hood is in line for another start this week even though Nick Harper (forearm) is close to returning.
Hood played well in last week's win over the Jaguars with an interception and three tackles. The Titans have no reason to rush Harper back with a 1-6 record.

Titans declared CB Nick Harper, RB Javon Ringer, CB Cary Williams, DT Jovan Haye, TE Craig Stevens, DE Jevon Kearse, RB Alvin Pearman, and OT Mike Otto inactive for Week 8 against the Jaguars.
Cortland Finnegan and nickel back Vincent Fuller are finally healthy, but the Titans will have to make do without Harper for one more week. It's a favorable matchup for the Jags' passing game.

Titans CB Cortland Finnegan (hamstring) is expected to rejoin the starting lineup Sunday, while Nick Harper (arm) will not play.
Finnegan hasn't played since Sept. 27 and the Titans have really missed him. They are giving up a ridiculous 42.3 points per game over their last three contests. Vincent Fuller (forearm) is also expected to return, giving the Titans secondary a solid boost and the team a decent chance to get their first win against the Jaguars.

Titans LCB Nick Harper (arm) is listed as doubtful for Week 8.
Tennessee's secondary is getting back nickel safety Vincent Fuller (arm) and possibly RCB Cortland Finnegan (questionable, hamstring), but won't be at full strength. The matchup is a tasty one for Jaguars QB David Garrard.
