The Packers are expected to attempt to re-sign free agent LT Chad Clifton.
Getting Clifton's deal done is the team's No. 2 priority currently, behind NT Ryan Pickett. Clifton, however, is only viewed as a "safeguard" re-signing. The Packers will likely use an early-round pick on a left tackle in April's draft.

Packers LT Chad Clifton is an impending free agent and didn't sound confident about his chances of being re-signed.
"I’ll be somewhere (playing)," Clifton said after Sunday's wild loss to the Cardinals. Clifton struggled with a high ankle sprain for most of the year and will be 34 next season. The Packers could very well choose to move on.

Packers LT Chad Clifton was carted off the field in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game with a right ankle injury.
Clifton could bear no weight on the joint as he made his way off the field. Rookie T.J. Lang has replaced Clifton on Aaron Rodgers' blind side.

Packers LT Chad Clifton (hamstring) was limited in Saturday's practice, but is listed as probable for Monday Night Football.
RT T.J. Lang (concussion) was limited too, and is questionable to face the Ravens. The Packers are facing a Baltimore defense that will be without its best pass rusher, Terrell Suggs. Aaron Rodgers is an excellent QB1 play.

Chad Clifton pulled his hamstring in Thursday's win over the Lions and did not return.
The Packers' offensive line can't catch a break. Clifton said he didn't know if he could have returned if the game got close. He has an extra few days to get ready for the Ravens in Week 13, but his status is already in doubt.

Packers LT Chad Clifton is likely to return from his high ankle sprain this week and regain his starting job.
Clifton took all the left tackle reps at Wednesday's practice. Rookie T.J. Lang was effective on Aaron Rodgers' blind side against Cleveland and Detroit, but was ravaged by Jared Allen in Week 8. Lang now goes back to the bench.
