Antonio Bryant | Wide Receiver

TEAM: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
HEIGHT/WEIGHT: 6'1' / 205
DOB: 3/9/1981
AGE:28
COLLEGE:Pittsburgh
CONTRACT INFO: 2010: Free Agent
 Antonio Bryant-WR- BuccaneersJan. 29 - 10:30 am et
The Bucs and Antonio Bryant "aren't really engaging in talks of any kind," according to beat writer Stephen Holder.
The Bucs seem intent on letting Bryant hit free agency to set his own market before they decide whether to make a play for him. They won't be franchising him for a second straight season at roughly $10 million, and Bryant hasn't been stable enough to merit a big-money long-term deal. Expect Redskins GM Bruce Allen to show interest once Bryant hits the open market.

 Derrick Mason-WR - Ravens Jan. 29 - 9:38 am et

According to beat writer Mike Preston, the Ravens would only bring Derrick Mason back as a No. 2 receiver.
The Ravens need a bigger, faster No. 1 receiver to push Mason down the depth chart and Mark Clayton out of the rotation. Anquan Boldin, Brandon Marshall, Antonio Bryant, and Terrell Owens are expected to be available beginning in March.

Bucs beat writer Ira Kaufman expects the Bucs to "move on without" free agent Antonio Bryant if he doesn't lower his asking price.
The Bucs have very little behind Bryant, but the team grew wary of his bulky knee and outspoken attitude during the season. They may kick the tires on Anquan Boldin and Brandon Marshall before making a legit offer to Bryant.

Bucs will not renew WRs coach Richard Mann's contract.
The Bucs are expected to look at Keenan McCardell and Ike Hilliard as potential replacements. Free agent Antonio Bryant has subtly threatened to leave the team if Mann was let go, so this could cost the Bucs more than their position coach. Mann also didn't get a fair shake with next to no talent after Bryant and seventh-round pick Sammie Stroughter.

With receivers coach Richard Mann expected to leave the Bucs this offseason, beat writer Rick Stroud suggests free agent Antonio Bryant could follow him out the door.
Bryant listed Mann and quarterback Josh Freeman as his only reasons for wanting to re-sign. The Bucs have reportedly grown tired of Bryant's attitude as well as his disappointing production in 2009. If Mann ends up on Mike Shanahan's coaching staff in D.C., as expected, Bryant could tag along.

The Bucs have given their wide receivers coach, Richard Mann, permission to interview with another team.
We only mention this because Mann is one of the reasons Antonio Bryant said he wanted to stay in Tampa. This could be a sign that the outspoken Bryant is getting ready to move on after playing this season as the Bucs' franchise player.
