Free agent OG Pete Kendall says he is still interested in playing this season.
"We've had some conversations with some teams," he said. "But at this point no one seems to be willing to bring me in a week into camp." Kendall is 36 and has little left, but could help someone in a backup center/guard role.

Free agent OG Pete Kendall has received no interest on the market.
Kendall, who turns 36 in July, is willing to return to Washington but hasn't gotten a firm offer. He started all 16 games at left guard last season.

The Redskins have made G Pete Kendall their next free agent target.
"He's my next phone call," Jim Zorn said. Kendall would return as a No. 3 guard and No. 2 center. He'd probably rather find a starting job elsewhere.

 Jason Brown-C - Rams Feb. 26 - 9:35 pm et

The Redskins will pursue free agent G/C Jason Brown unless they re-sign LG Pete Kendall, according to Scout.com's Adam Caplan.
This seconds a similar report from the Baltimore Sun. Brown wants to get paid like a top guard, and the Redskins desperately need to get younger at the position. The Rams, Dolphins, Bills, and Jaguars are also believed to be interested in Brown.

 DeAngelo Hall-DB - Redskins Feb. 19 - 3:17 pm et

Coach Jim Zorn revealed Thursday at the Combine that the Redskins are unlikely to re-sign DeAngelo Hall before the Feb. 27 free agency period.
The Skins don't seem interested in franchising Hall, so he'll hit the market. Starting LG Pete Kendall will likely also make it to free agency unsigned.
