 Chris Draft-LB- BillsOct. 24 - 9:32 am et
Recently signed Chris Draft practiced with the starting unit this past week and will likely start at weak side linebacker on Sunday.
The 11-year veteran will start in place of rookie Ashlee Palmer. In his one snap last Sunday, Draft sacked Mark Sanchez. He isn't going to help the Bills' rush defense much, but he offers versatility and provides some much needed depth.

 Chris Draft-LB - Bills Oct. 13 - 5:58 pm et

Bills signed LB Chris Draft, formerly of the Rams.
Draft is a versatile reserve, but he's not going to help the Bills' run defense. He played in the middle on last year's Rams squad that couldn't stop anyone on the ground. He'll provide depth with Kawika Mitchell and Marcus Buggs out for the year.

Rams released LB Chris Draft.
The Rams take a slight cap hit, but save $1.3 million in cash. Draft lost out to rookie James Laurinaitis for the MIKE linebacker job, but was expected to start on the strong side. Now it looks like David Vobora will start there. The Rams must not think Larry Grant's knee injury is too serious.

Chris Draft will likely shift from middle linebacker to strongside linebacker when rookie James Laurinaitis officially becomes a starter.
Laurinaitis is obviously the Rams' MIKE linebacker of the future and probably present. He hasn't been named the starter yet and is still running mostly with the second unit, but it's only a matter of time.

 Larry Grant-LB - Rams Jul. 31 - 10:24 pm et

Larry Grant opened Friday's practice as the strongside linebacker on the No. 1 defense.
Chris Draft was in the middle, but that will be James Laurinaitis' spot in the very near future. Draft is expected to shift to the strong side, but Rams coaches would be happy if either Grant or David Vobora plays well enough to shove the veteran into a reserve/fourth linebacker role.

 Chris Draft-LB - Bills Jul. 2 - 9:46 pm et

Chris Draft recently revealed that he's currently running as the Rams' starting middle linebacker.
Larry Grant and David Vobora are competing for the strong-side job, with rookie James Laurinaitis backing up Draft. We expect Laurinaitis to unseat Draft in training camp, pushing the veteran into a reserve role or the SAM position, where neither Vobora nor Grant would present any obvious upgrade.
