Raiders QB Charlie Frye took apart the Ravens pass defense for 180 yards in the first half of Week 17 before leaving with a back injury.
The Ravens haven't beaten a quality team with a good quarterback since Week 2. While the secondary is a mess, beat writer Mike Preston also believes Ray Lewis is a liability on passing downs "because he can no longer backpedal fast enough or cover one-on-one." Even without Wes Welker, the Ravens will have a hard time slowing Tom Brady.

 Ray Lewis-LB - Ravens Dec. 29 - 7:46 pm et

Ravens LB Ray Lewis and Ed Reed were elected to their 11th and sixth Pro Bowls respectively.
Even at age 34, Lewis was the easy choice at inside linebacker in the AFC. Reed has played in just 11 games this season, but he was helped by the lack of big names at safety this season -- as well as Troy Polamalu's knee injuries.

Ray Lewis admitted that he aggravated his foot/ankle injury and it bothered him against the Colts last week.
Lewis was noticeably grimacing and had a slight limp in his stride. He wasn't as quick to the ball and even missed a clear one-on-one tackle on Joseph Addai at the goal line. Lewis isn't in danger of missing any time, but he's not close to 100 percent. That's good news for Rashard Mendenhall this week.

 Ray Lewis-LB - Ravens Nov. 14 - 2:05 pm et

Despite being called a game-time decision by coach Jim Harbaugh Saturday, Ray Lewis is listed as "probable" for Monday's game against the Browns and will almost certainly start.
Lewis didn't practice on Thursday or Friday, but he's fine. Lewis hasn't missed a game since the tail end of the 2007 season and predictably leads the team in tackles once again this season. Lewis said he "feels great" following Saturday's practice.

Adrian Peterson's 143 rushing yards in Week 6 were the most allowed by a Ray Lewis-led Ravens defense since 1998.
They really miss Rex Ryan. While Baltimore's offense is on the upswing, the defense is tanking. The Ravens were already among the league's weakest teams against the pass, and have now let A.P. and Cedric Benson combine for 263 yards in the last two weeks. They have a Week 7 bye to fix things.

 Ray Lewis-LB - Ravens Oct. 2 - 9:21 am et

Ray Lewis (concussion) was upgraded to full participation in Thursday's practice.
Lewis was limited on Wednesday after getting knocked woozy in Week 3. There's no way he's missing this week's titanic struggle against the Patriots.
