Ravens coach John Harbaugh said he plans on using Willis McGahee this week.
"Willis is a very good player. I think there's a good chance you'll see a lot of Willis this weekend," Harbaugh said. McGahee had 13 carries last week while Ray Rice had 20, but we're not worried about Rice's workload. Harbaugh has said before he wants to get Willis more work and it hasn't happened. McGahee remains a strict handcuff to Rice.

Willis McGahee carried the ball 13 times for 35 yards in Week 10 after seeing zero touches last week.
McGahee saw many of his carries, along with Ray Rice, late in the game. Rice is clearly the featured back, but McGahee is fine with that. The Ravens face undefeated Indianapolis in Week 11.

Willis McGahee reiterated that he is "cool with" essentially being a non-factor in the Ravens' offense.
"He's doing a great job," McGahee said of every-down back Ray Rice. "You grow up, get older, get wiser. I'm not out there getting beat up, so that's the main thing." McGahee is taking a smart approach. He's not likely to be brought back in 2010 with a $3.6 million salary. Still only 28, McGahee will try to find a team desperate enough to give him starting job on the open market.

Coach John Harbaugh says the Ravens have no need to put Willis McGahee in the game with Ray Rice playing so well.
McGahee had zero carries in Week 9 and has 10 in the last four games. "It's pretty hard to take [Rice] off the field when he's making the plays," Harbaugh said. "I don't think it has anything to do with Willis as much as it has to do with the way Ray's playing." McGahee is strictly Rice's handcuff and no immediate threat to his workload, even on the goal line.

Willis McGahee didn't have a single carry in Week 9 against Cincinnati.
Offensive coordinator Cam Cameron indicated earlier in the week that McGahee would play at least two series in the first half, but it didn't happen. Baltimore falling behind certainly didn't help McGahee's case. He is roster worthy in all leagues, but will only be usable if Ray Rice goes down.

ESPN's James Walker speculates that Willis McGahee will see more touches when the weather turns for the worse.
We doubt it. Ray Rice is playing too well to come off the field at any point. McGahee's seven touchdowns in the first four weeks are long forgotten. He should only be on a roster as a handcuff to Rice.
