FoxSports' Jay Glazer reported during Sunday's pregame show that the Titans' decision to start Vince Young over Kerry Collins was "not being met with open arms" in the locker room.
Glazer also revealed that coach Jeff Fisher admitted to Collins that his hands were tied on the move, and the players believe Collins is free from blame for the early-season woes. Some players went so far as to say that five-to-seven times per game Young calls a play that makes no sense whatsoever. VY likely earned quite a bit of locker-room good faith after his Week 8 performance against the Jags.

Titans LB Keith Bulluck believes coach Jeff Fisher's "hands were tied" in the switch from Kerry Collins to Vince Young at quarterback.
That much is obvious. Fisher has lost confidence in Young, who was often ill-prepared in his first stint as a starter. Young also has locker-room issues after quitting on his team early last season. Even with owner Bud Adams on his side, Young's Tennessee future hinges on re-establishing himself as a viable starter the rest of the way.

Titans coach Jeff Fisher confirmed that Vince Young will start Sunday, as expected.
Young is worthy of a speculative waiver pickup as a roster stash, but he's not a recommended fantasy play until he proves he can be a productive passer. Even with an attractive matchup against the Jags, Nate Washington and Kenny Britt are high-risk fantasy options.

The Titans will start Vince Young at quarterback against the Jaguars on Sunday, according to the Nashville Tennessean.
An official announcement is expected after the Titans' Thursday practice. Young replaces Kerry Collins, who needed to be benched after the team's stunning 0-6 start. Young isn't an upgrade for the Titans' skill players as the the mobile quarterback struggles to get the ball to his wideouts. We're not recommending starting Young, even in a great matchup against the Jaguars this week.

Titans coach Jeff Fisher says he will name the team's starting QB for Week 8 following Thursday's practice.
It's possible Fisher is holding a two-day "competition" between Vince Young and Kerry Collins on the practice field. ESPN's Adam Schefter expects Collins to get the nod, but Fisher has also hinted at using V.Y. in certain packages. Even in a tasty matchup with the Jaguars, this is a fantasy situation to avoid.

Titans coach Jeff Fisher refused Wednesday to divulge who his starting QB will be in Week 8 against Jacksonville.
"I'm going to start one of the two on the roster," is all Fisher said. We may not know for sure whether the Titans will start Kerry Collins or Vince Young until the first snap of Sunday's 4:05PM ET game, and either QB would surely be on a short leash. This is a situation to avoid even in two-QB leagues.
