Bills beat writer Mark Gaughan says that if Lee Evans were on a top team, he'd have huge numbers.
There's no question that Evans is a major talent, but it doesn't look like we'll find out anytime soon if Gaughan's assertion is true. Terrell Owens almost certainly won't be back, leading to more double teams on Evans next season. New coach Chan Gailey's offensive mind should help, but with the quarterback situation looking bleak at best, it's hard to be excited about Evans. |
