Steelers declared WR Joey Galloway, S Troy Polamalu, third QB Charlie Batch, OG Chris Kemoeatu, DB Keenan Lewis, FB Cary Davis, OG Kraig Urbik and DL RaShon Harris inactive for Sunday's game against the Ravens.
No surprises here as Galloway couldn't have been expected to be ready after just signing five days ago. LB James Harrison is giving it a go. The weather in Pittsburgh looks sunny and mild for now, setting up a possible shootout.

Undrafted rookie Tyler Grisham is expected to be the Steelers' No. 4 receiver this week.
Grisham remains ahead of Joey Galloway until the newly signed veteran becomes more familiar with the offense. A slot receiver type, Grisham is a smallish receiver with good quickness and hands but lacking in deep speed.

Steelers signed WR Joey Galloway, formerly of the Patriots.
He replaces Limas Sweed, who is out for the season with an "illness." Galloway will be the Steelers' No. 4 receiver at best behind Santonio Holmes, Hines Ward, and Mike Wallace. The 38-year-old has been out of the league since getting released by the Patriots on Oct. 20. Galloway's name is much bigger than his potential impact.

The Bengals worked out free agent WR Joey Galloway, DT Ed Johnson, and S Mike Doss on Tuesday.
If signed, Galloway would ostensibly fill Chris Henry's role on offense. Unfortunately, he no longer has Henry's talent. Johnson was effective in September, but the Colts cut him when he fell out of shape by mid-season.

Updating a previous item, free agent WR Joey Galloway has reportedly not heard from the Chiefs and is not scheduled to visit Kansas City.
Christopher Price of WEEI in Boston tweeted that Galloway was en route to K.C., but it appears his source jumped the gun. The Ravens were reportedly interested in trading for Galloway at one point, but that was before the emergence of Kelley Washington.

Joey Galloway, fresh off his release from the Patriots, is reportedly on his way to Kansas City for a tryout with the Chiefs.
The 38-year-old showed in New England that he has little left in the tank, but Chiefs coach Todd Haley has been unhappy with his wide receivers since training camp. Galloway is an extreme longshot for fantasy value if he lands in Kansas City.
