Eagles OG Stacy Andrews was accused of punching his girlfriend in the face several weeks ago.
When the girlfriend decided not to press charges, Andrews was released from police custody. "I didn't hit her," Andrews said. "I'd be locked up and be in big doo-doo if I did." The Eagles have not commented on the matter.

The Eagles will use a three-guard rotation of Stacy Andrews, Nick Cole, and Max Jean-Gilles against the Bucs this week.
Cole has been starting at left guard, with Jean-Gilles on the right side and Andrews resting his surgically repaired knee. Andrews is now ready to work back in, leaving Jean-Gilles to rotate between both sides. It shouldn't be an issue against a Bucs defense allowing 172 rushing yards per game.

Eagles RG Stacy Andrews has been pulled from the starting lineup.
Line coach Luis Castillo says Andrews is still working on his technique in pass protection, and Max Jean-Gilles is currently the better option. Three of the Birds' projected five starting linemen will be out of the lineup for Kevin Kolb's start. Expect a heavy dose of Brian Westbrook Sunday.

Eagles RG Stacy Andrews will start Thursday's game against the Jaguars.
The Eagles starting offensive line has yet to play together this summer. The return to action for Andrews is doubly important as he's moving from tackle to guard eight months after undergoing ACL surgery.

Eagles coach Andy Reid suggested Tuesday that Stacy Andrews (ACL surgery) is no lock to start at right guard in Week 1.
Andrews is just eight months removed from ACL surgery, so insurance policy Nick Cole is picking up reps while Andrews is limited. Once Andrews reaches 100 percent, the job will be his. He wasn't placed on active/PUP to start camp, so the Eagles are obviously counting on him early in the season.

Eagles RG Stacy Andrews (ACL surgery) will be on the field when the team begins training camp practices on Monday.
Initial workouts don't involve contact and Andrews might be "limited" for most of August, but it's still a good sign that he doesn't need to go on the camp/PUP list. Backup G Max Jean-Gilles (broken fibula) also will practice.
