Texans FB Vonta Leach was arrested earlier this week in Lumberton, North Carolina and charged with a misdemeanor simple assault.
He allegedly hit another man in the face with a beer bottle and kicked him during a fight. Leach claims, however, that he was accosted and simply defended himself. He was jailed in Robeson County and released on a "written promise." His court date is scheduled for August 18. |
