The Giants appear to be intent on using Danny Ware more going forward, which could limit Ahmad Bradshaw's role on offense.
Ware is expected to take over as New York's full-time back on third downs, which had previously involved Bradshaw. Brandon Jacobs has averaged 5.35 yards per touch in the Giants' last four games, so his role is unlikely to decrease. The team may be growing concerned with Bradshaw's partially cracked foot. Ware is also considered the club's best back in blitz pickup.

Brandon Jacobs was struggling early in the year because he was being asked to run the plays Derrick Ward used to handle, according to running backs coach Jerald Ingram.
Ingram says the Giants were forced to use Jacobs in passing situations because Danny Ware was hurt. Now that Ware is back, Jacobs won't be asked to run draws or east west. Not sure if we're buying this as an excuse for Jacobs early season struggles, but it's good to hear that he'll be used as strictly a downhill runner in the second half.

Giants coach Tom Coughlin said he thought the "distribution was OK" between Brandon Jacobs, Ahmad Bradshaw and Danny Ware in Week 9.
Jacobs got just 11 carries, but that had a little to do with a minor knee tweak. Bradshaw rushed 14 times, while Ware surprisingly got two carries. During the Giants' four-game skid, Jacobs is averaging 5.1 yards per carry but has gotten just 51 carries. Look for something closer to 17 carries for Jacobs when the Giants come out of their bye.

Giants coach Tom Coughlin confirmed Monday that the knee injury Brandon Jacobs suffered in Week 9 is "not a big deal."
The injury cost Jacobs snaps, but shouldn't keep him out of Week 11 against the Falcons. Jacobs continued to show improved burst, averaging 6.1 YPC on 11 attempts. He's now averaging 5.20 yards a carry in his last three games.

Brandon Jacobs rushed 11 times for 67 yards and caught one pass for one yard in Sunday's loss to the Chargers.
Jacobs hobbled off the field in the third quarter and had his knee examined on the sideline. But he came back in two series later and seemed fine. Jacobs ran hard and fast throughout this one but still couldn't find the end zone despite one goal-line carry. His two touchdowns through nine games are a major concern heading into the bye.

Brandon Jacobs limped off the field and was having his right knee examined in the third quarter of Sunday's game against the Chargers, but returned after taking a couple drives off.
It's unclear exactly what happened to Jacobs, but it's probably just a little tweak. Ahmad Bradshaw stepped in while Jacobs was out.
