Bengals placed WR Chris Henry on injured reserve with two broken bones in his left forearm, ending his season.
He had surgery Monday, and his recovery is expected to last 10 weeks. Henry, acting as a situational deep threat, had over two catches in just one game all year, so his loss won't significantly upgrade any of the Bengals' other receivers in terms of fantasy value. Henry was in the last year of his contract and is slated for free agency in 2010. He has turned his career around of late and could draw substantial interest as a potential starter. Tightly hang onto the 26-year-old in dynasty leagues. |
