ESPN's Sal Paolantonio reports that the Broncos, Bills, and Browns have shown interest in the availability of Donovan McNabb.
While Cleveland and Buffalo has obvious holes at QB, this tells us a little about Denver's faith, or lack of it, in Kyle Orton as a long-term solution. The Eagles have indicated that McNabb is unlikely to be traded. Should they be offered a first-round pick however, we strongly believe that would change.

Broncos owner Pat Bowlen said he wants impending restricted free agent Kyle Orton to return.
"Orton is a good quarterback," Bowlen said. The owner added that he would like to draft a quarterback, presumably in the later rounds. We're fully expecting Orton to be the Broncos' starting quarterback come Week 1 of next season, even if he's only on a one-year deal.

The Denver Post expects impending restricted free agent Kyle Orton to be back on a one-year deal.
Orton did post a career-high 3,802 yards, but the Broncos' 2-8 finish raised plenty of concerns about his status as a potential franchise quarterback. A one-year deal would buy the Broncos time while they try to come up with a long-term plan at quarterback.

Kyle Orton, likely to be a restricted free agent this offseason, indicated that "there's no question" he wants to return to Denver.
But do the Broncos want him back? His odds of returning increase with the free agency restricted. Orton can hold down the fort for another year without the Broncos being forced to make a long-term financial commitment. Look for him to be under center in Week 1 of the 2010 season.

Kyle Orton completed 32-of-56 passes for 431 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions in Week 17 against the Chiefs.
Orton came into the game with just nine interceptions in 485 attempts, but linebacker Derrick Johnson twice picked him off and ran it back for a touchdown. Despite the disappointing finale Orton exceeded all expectations in his first season with the Broncos, out-playing Jay Cutler while dramatically improving his completion percentage and yards per attempt under Josh McDaniels.

Eddie Royal (neck/head) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Chiefs.
The Broncos will play without Brandon Marshall, Tony Scheffler and Royal. It's turning into a terrible situation for Kyle Orton and a Broncos team that is still alive in the playoff chase. Needless to say: Not for long.
