 Matt Cassel-QB- ChiefsNov. 15 - 7:36 pm et
Matt Cassel completed 19-of-34 passes for 216 yards and one interception in the Chiefs' 16-10 victory over the Raiders.
Cassel didn't play particularly well, as the Chiefs' offense was carried by Jamaal Charles. Cassel looked to be staring his receivers down early in the game, as he came close to another interception or two. Don't play Cassel next week against the Steelers.

 Matt Cassel-QB - Chiefs Nov. 8 - 4:51 pm et

Matt Cassel completed 23-of-39 passes for 262 yards and a touchdown in the Chiefs' Week 9 loss to Jacksonville.
The stats look good on paper, but the ominous signs that have held back Cassel all year remained. Despite getting back LT Branden Albert and C Rudy Niswanger, the Chiefs' offensive line was constantly leaky. Cassel was sacked three times and hit many more by a Jaguars defense that brings the least pressure in the NFL. He'll go against an up-and-down Raiders secondary in Week 10.
 Matt Cassel-QB - Chiefs Oct. 25 - 5:00 pm et

Matt Cassel completed just 10-of-25 passes for 97 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions against the Chargers in Week 7. He added six scrambles for 24 yards.
Cassel was sacked four more times, but he was off target even when he did have time to throw. While the plucky effort is there, the results are not. His completion percentage is now under 55, and his yards per attempt is under 5.5. He has a much-welcomed bye next week, followed by the Jags in Week 9.
 Matt Cassel-QB - Chiefs Oct. 18 - 4:19 pm et

Matt Cassel completed 18-of-33 passes for 186 yards in Week 6 against the Redskins.
Cassel failed to top 200 yards for the third time in four games and as usual took a bunch of sacks, although in fairness he was playing without starting left tackle Branden Albert. When not throwing to Dwayne Bowe, Cassel gained just 75 yards on a dozen completions.
 Matt Cassel-QB - Chiefs Oct. 14 - 12:20 am et

Chiefs coach Todd Haley wants to use more of the no-huddle offense going forward, after it worked in Week 5.
"It’s something I’ve had a lot of experience with," he said. The Chiefs scored a season-high 20 offensive points using the hurry-up against Dallas. The up-tempo system would place more emphasis on the pass game and less on power run plays, which haven't worked. It's a plus for Matt Cassel, Dwayne Bowe, and possibly Jamaal Charles, but awful news for Larry Johnson.

 Matt Cassel-QB - Chiefs Oct. 11 - 5:02 pm et

Matt Cassel completed 23-of-41 passes for 253 yards and two touchdowns in the Chiefs' Week 5 loss to Dallas. He also ran for 28 yards.
It wasn't as pleasant a day as the numbers say. Cassel was under constant duress, took four more sacks (including DeMarcus Ware's first of 2009), and was erratic on several throws. Still, Cassel has shown resilience during a brutal first-half schedule and should be a quality QB2 as it eases up going forward.
