49ers coach Mike Singletary said WR Brandon Jones will be active for this week's game against the Colts.
Jones, who signed a five-year, $16,5 million contract as a free agent this offseason, suffered a shoulder injury in training camp. He's been healthy for about three weeks but still has zero catches on the season and was inactive in Week 7. It's worth noting that Jones was having a nice training camp before he went down and showed good chemistry with new starter Alex Smith. Source: San Francisco Chronicle
