Leonard Weaver rushed five times for 19 yards and added two receptions for 11 yards in Saturday night's first-round playoff loss to the Cowboys.
Weaver lost one fumble and appeared to have a miscommunication with Michael Vick on another play where the Eagles lost the ball. It was a disappointing finish to a Pro Bowl season for the fullback.

Brian Westbrook does not expect to dominate the Eagles' backfield Saturday night at Dallas.
Westbrook is being a good teammate in deferring to DeSean Jackson and his fellow backfield mates, but he remains the best bet for snaps and touches among the Philly runners. While he's no longer the offensive focal point, he should see an increased role this week.

The Eagles and impending free agent FB Leonard Weaver reportedly have a mutual interest in a contract extension.
The sides have already begun informal talks, and it's expected that a deal will come to fruition after the playoffs. The preeminent rusher and receiver at his position, Weaver earned his first Pro Bowl bid this season.

Leonard Weaver rushed just one time for two yards in Sunday's loss to the Cowboys.
The score didn't help matters, but Weaver's stint as a runner is over. Brian Westbrook will dominate carries as we head into the playoffs, with LeSean McCoy sprinkled in.

The Eagles gave Brian Westbrook 23 snaps (11 touches), Leonard Weaver 33 (seven touches) and LeSean McCoy 28 (seven touches) in Sunday's win over the Broncos.
This shows just how much trust coach Andy Reid has in Westbrook. If he's in a uniform, he's going to be used plenty. Look for B-West to get even more snaps and touches in Sunday's big game against the Cowboys.

Leonard Weaver rushed seven times for 20 yards in Sunday's win over the Broncos.
Weaver's impressive run as a featured back is on its way to ending. Brian Westbrook was immediately inserted back into a major role and B-West's carries will only rise at the expense of Weaver. If you were carrying Weaver as a desperation option, feel free to cut him.
