Jaguars GM Gene Smith indicated that the offense will emphasize the running game in 2010.
Smith believes the Jags have "one of the best blocking tight ends [Marcedes Lewis], one of the better fullbacks [Greg Jones], and one of the best running backs [Jones-Drew]" in the league. Jones-Drew is easily the team's best player, and he should remain a Top-3 fantasy pick this summer as the offensive centerpiece.

Maurice Jones-Drew ran for 82 yards on 16 carries and caught a six-yard pass in the Jaguars' Week 17 loss to Cleveland.
Jacksonville's season is officially over. MoJo held up just fine in his first year as an every-down featured back, closing strong and finishing with 16 all-purpose touchdowns. He also totaled 1,765 yards on a career-high 365 touches. Jones-Drew will be a consensus top-three pick in 2010 fantasy drafts. He'd definitely benefit if the Jags upgraded the weapons around him.

Maurice Jones-Drew left Sunday's game in the first quarter with an ankle injury, but returned after missing one play.
Jones-Drew walked off the minor sprain on the sideline and doesn't appear to have a limp. He should be fine to finish out the Jaguars' finale.

Maurice Jones-Drew rushed 18 times for 63 yards and caught three passes for 35 yards in Week 16 against the Patriots.
MJD fought hard for yards throughout, but was kept out of the end zone and stuffed at the line on several key plays. He got just five carries in the second half thanks to a huge deficit, finishing under 100 total yards for the fourth time in six games.

Maurice Jones-Drew rushed 27 times for 110 yards and a touchdown and added five receptions for 30 yards and another touchdown against the Colts in Week 15.
Jones-Drew looked like he had an extra gear while dominating the first half. He carried tacklers and powered his way to extra yardage early, only to have the team put the ball in David Garrard's hands in the fourth quarter. MJD's career-high 16 TDs lead the league, and he's now up to 1,246 rushing yards on the season. He'll remain a Top-5 option again next week even in a tough matchup at New England.
