Reggie Bush (questionable, knee) missed his third straight practice Friday and appears unlikely to play at Tampa Bay.
Pierre Thomas will carry the load in an ideal matchup, with Mike Bell chipping in as an early-down change of pace back. Coach Sean Payton said Bush likely wouldn't even be available for punt return duties. The Saints want to avoid a setback with Bush's knee, which he's had surgically repaired several times before. They'll likely play it safe so he's available for the stretch run.

The swelling that has kept Reggie Bush out of practice this week is to the left knee that has given him trouble in the past.
"Hopefully we can practice him tomorrow," said coach Sean Payton. "At the same time, I don't want to set it back." Bush is coming off a heavier than usual workload at St. Louis, and the knee flareup will likely have Payton thinking twice about expanding his role down the stretch.

Reggie Bush (knee) missed practice again Thursday.
Coach Sean Payton indicated that Bush is dealing with swelling in his knee, though there's no indication that he's in danger of missing this week's game at Tampa. Bush is no better than a flex play if he does suit up on Sunday.

Reggie Bush missed Saints practice Wednesday with a knee injury.
Bush is coming off his best game (98 total yards, two touchdowns) of the season. There's no indication that the injury will sideline him for Week 11.

Reggie Bush was in for 17 of the Saints' first 26 snaps in the team's Week 10 win over St. Louis.
Clearly, the Saints game planned for Bush to have a major role. He played just five of New Orleans' last 30 plays, however, with Mike Bell and Pierre Thomas dominating the backfield in the second half. Bush might've earned a slightly larger role with his 98-yard, two-TD effort, but ultimately he only got eight touches. Thomas remains the best RB fantasy play in the Nola.

Reggie Bush rushed six times for 83 yards and a touchdown, and caught two passes for 15 yards in a touchdown in the Saints' 28-23 win over the Rams.
Bush made a mockery of the Rams in open space, showing moves that reminded us of his days at Southern Cal. He launched himself in the end zone on a draw play in the second quarter and made his way to pay dirt on a crossing route just a minutes later. He's still stuck in a rotation in the New Orleans backfield, but it was nice to see the shiftiness. He remains a hit-or-miss flex play option heading into Week 11 against the Buccaneers.
