Beat writer Jim Wyatt suggests the Seahawks could show interest in LenDale White now that his former college coach Pete Carroll is running the team.
The fit makes sense, with Seattle needing an early-down upgrade at tailback. White is expected to be a restricted free agent, which means the Titans would have a chance to match a potential Seahawks' offer. The two sides could instead agree on compensation, such as a mid-to-late round pick.

Titans GM Mike Reinfeldt expects the team to limit Chris Johnson's carries and increase his receptions going forward.
Coach Jeff Fisher ran Eddie George into the ground, cutting his career short seven years ago. The Titans don't want a repeat of that with Johnson, who led the league in carries (358) and touches (408) in 2009. The coaching staff will continue to explore ways to get Johnson the ball in space, where he's most effective. He'll enter next season as the consensus No. 1 fantasy pick regardless.

LenDale White, expected to a restricted free agent, will not be offered a long-term deal by the Titans according to beat writer Jim Wyatt.
White could be used as trade bait, but the Titans wouldn't get much in return for their former goal-line back. Chances are White will return as the backup, with Javon Ringer also mixed in. That may not make White happy, but he probably doesn't have a choice.

LenDale White rushed just once for one yard in Week 17.
It was his only carry in the final month of 2009. White got the ball just 67 times for 235 yards on the year, eating watching as Chris Johnson took over every-down back duties, then goal-line duties, then surpassed 2,000 yards rushing. White heads to restricted free agency in 2010, and the Titans may consider replacing him with 2009 fifth-round pick Javon Ringer.

LenDale White hasn't had a carry in the Titans' last three games.
White says he supports Chris Johnson's 2,000-yard bid, but obviously would rather be playing. "I think I saved a year on my life as far as football is concerned," he added. "I have (63) carries; I haven't carried the ball in however many weeks. I am healthy. It is Week 21 and I am fresh as I can be."

LenDale White said he doesn't want to be Chris Johnson's strict backup next season.
White is a free agent at the end of the season. "I don't want to sit here and play backup to nobody. I refuse. I don't want to," White said. "In my mind I have never been a guy who signed up to be a second-tier guy." Assuming White walks, it could open up even more goal-line work for Johnson next season.
