 Vernon Davis-TE - 49ers Dec. 27 - 7:30 pm et

Vernon Davis caught three passes for 18 yards and a touchdown against the Lions in Week 16.
Davis was able to keep pace with Larry Fitzgerald at 12 touchdowns when Alex Smith opted to throw a 2-yard pass right at the line of scrimmage instead of running into the end zone himself. Davis now has 72 receptions and 876 yards to go with the dozen scores.
 Roy Williams-WR - Cowboys Dec. 23 - 9:47 am et

Roy Williams has officially been charged with seven drops this season, which is tied for 14th in the league.
It's worth noting that Vernon Davis, in the midst of a dominant season, leads the league in official drops with 11. Williams had a big third-down drop last week, but for the most part his inability to separate has been a bigger problem than his hands. Williams isn't even worth a flex play against the Redskins this week.

49ers coach Mike Singletary criticized Vernon Davis for not going after a pass that ended up being intercepted in Sunday's loss to the Eagles.
Alex Smith had a pass sail on him down the seam and Davis didn't really make an effort to at least knock it away from Eagles S Quintin Mikell. "I wanted to see him go get it. That's what great tight ends do," Singletary said. Davis has been a model citizen by all accounts this season, and the miscue shouldn't change anything. He's a legitimate All-Pro candidate.

 Vernon Davis-TE - 49ers Dec. 20 - 8:15 pm et

Vernon Davis caught three passes for 43 yards in Sunday's loss to the Eagles.
Davis was hurt by Alex Smith's first-half struggles. Smith missed his tight end high a couple times and didn't give him a chance for any jump balls. Davis is still an elite option and will bounce back against the Lions next week.
 Alex Smith-QB - 49ers Dec. 17 - 5:37 pm et

49ers offensive coordinator Jimmy Raye now says his ideal offense would tilt toward the pass instead of the run.
With Frank Gore as his only reliable offensive weapon, Raye called for a 60-40 run-to-pass ratio before the season. Since then, however, Vernon Davis and Michael Crabtree have emerged as star caliber players and Alex Smith has shown enough promise to head into next season as the starter.
