Joseph Addai ran for 77 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries and caught seven passes for 58 yards in the Colts' Super Bowl loss.
Addai was arguably Indianapolis' most effective player Sunday, but the Colts got away from the run in the second half. He wound up failing to top 80 yards in each of his 18 appearances this season. Addai is likely to lose carries to Donald Brown in 2010, and could be overvalued in fantasy drafts. Though potent in short yardage and the receiving game, his yardage ceiling is limited due to a lack of explosiveness. Brown has more burst.

Joseph Addai (shoulder) is listed as "probable" for the Super Bowl.
Addai has missed time in the Colts' two playoff wins, but he's practicing this week. With the extra week off, he should be as healthy as he's been in weeks.

Joseph Addai ran for 80 yards on 16 carries and caught a 13-yard pass as the Colts beat the Jets in Sunday's AFC title game.
As usual, Addai didn't bust any long runs, but was effective inside the tackles as the Jets consistently dropped seven into coverage in fear of Indy's passing game. Through two playoff wins, Addai is averaging 3.9 yards per carry on 27 attempts. He'll go against the winner of Vikings-Saints in two weeks.

Joseph Addai was taken to the locker room with a shoulder injury on the Colts' third possession of Sunday's game.
He returned after missing roughly one possession.

Joseph Addai was held to 23 yards on 11 carries and added three receptions for 14 yards against the Ravens in the Divisional Round of the playoffs.
Addai was bottled up early in the game, taking a couple of hard hits from LB Dannel Ellerbe. He missed roughly a quarter's worth of action with a shoulder injury and played sparingly upon returning late in the third quarter. Addai hasn't topped 80 rushing yards in a game all season, but it's yet to hurt the Colts offense.

Joseph Addai left Saturday night's game with a right shoulder injury. He returned to the game late in the third quarter.
Addai left for the locker room with two minutes left in the second quarter. He's likely going for precautionary X-rays, and his return is being called "probable." Mike Hart has been handling backup duties over Donald Brown.
