 Mark Sanchez-QB- JetsOct. 19 - 12:01 am et
Jets coach Rex Ryan said after Sunday's loss to the Bills that he is sticking with Mark Sanchez at quarterback.
Sanchez leads the NFL in interceptions (10), hasn't topped 172 yards in a game since Week 1, and his average arm strength appeared to be a liability in less-than-ideal weather Sunday. Kellen Clemens isn't the answer, but beat writer Rich Cimini expects him to get more practice reps this week.

 Kellen Clemens-QB - Jets Sep. 6 - 9:33 pm et

Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum issued a statement announcing that the club will keep four quarterbacks, following Sunday's addition of Kevin O'Connell.
It doesn't mean Kellen Clemens will definitely keep the No. 2 QB job, as the Newark Star-Ledger points out that Erik Ainge "is gaining ground" after an aggressive, accurate preseason. O'Connell will be fourth string.

 Kellen Clemens-QB - Jets Sep. 6 - 3:36 pm et

Coach Rex Ryan revealed that backup QB Kellen Clemens suffered a right (throwing) elbow injury in the Jets' preseason loss to Baltimore.
We didn't see when the injury happened, and its extent is unknown. But it may explain the team's acquisition of 2008 third-round pick Kevin O'Connell via trade from the Lions. Clemens was limited in the final two exhibitions.

 Kevin O'Connell-QB - Jets Sep. 6 - 1:47 pm et

Jets acquired QB Kevin O'Connell from the Lions in exchange for an undisclosed future draft pick.
Detroit did a nice job of getting something for nothing here; GM Martin Mayhew is using his No. 1 waiver priority wisely. From the Jets' perspective, the move may signal the end of the Kellen Clemens experiment. Erik Ainge was more productive in preseason games. O'Connell will likely be third string.

 Mark Sanchez-QB - Jets Aug. 26 - 8:31 am et

Coach Rex Ryan has named Mark Sanchez the Jets' starting quarterback as of Wednesday morning.
Despite his wide-eyed start to Monday's game against the Ravens, the coaches were impressed by Sanchez's ability to bounce back. He's also demonstrated leadership in the huddle and a firm grip on the offense. Just as importantly, Kellen Clemens has floundered. While it's an exciting move for the Jets, it's a situation for fantasy leaguers to avoid.

 Mark Sanchez-QB - Jets Aug. 25 - 12:27 pm et

Jets coach Rex Ryan predictably refused to name a starting quarterback following Monday night's preseason loss to Baltimore.
Mark Sanchez was 3-of-8 for 43 yards, a TD, and a pick. Kellen Clemens went 5-of-10 for 60 yards, one score, and an interception on an apparent attempt at a Tim Tebow-like "jump pass." Clemens has proven that he isn't a starting-caliber passer. Expect Sanchez to be named after the third exhibition.
