 David Anderson-WR - Texans Nov. 24 - 8:18 am et

David Anderson stepped in for Jacoby Jones (calf) and caught five passes for 52 yards in Monday night's loss to the Titans.
Anderson was the No. 3 receiver ahead of Andre' Davis. He caught two balls on the Texans' final drive and played mostly out of the slot. Anderson will go back to his No. 4 role when Jones returns, which should be this week.

Texans matched the Broncos' three-year, $4.5 million offer sheet to WR David Anderson, meaning he'll stay in Houston.
If the Broncos really wanted him, they would've had to offer considerably more. Anderson will make minimum salaries over the next three seasons and got a meager $1 million signing bonus. Anderson, who caught 19 balls last year, will return as Houston's fourth receiver, behind Andre Johnson, Kevin Walter, and Andre' Davis. He also contributes on special teams.

The Texans reportedly "have the money to match" the Broncos' offer sheet to WR David Anderson.
The offer is for $4.5 million over three years. Anderson has improved every year and the Texans would only receive a seventh-round compensation in return, so odds are they will match the offer and retain Anderson as a slot receiver.

Texans WR David Anderson has reportedly signed a three-year, $4.5 million offer sheet with the Broncos.
The Texans have a week to match the deal, but they may not want to go that high for a fourth receiver. If they refuse, the Broncos would only surrender a seventh-round draft pick. This news, along with the signing of Jabar Gaffney, could signal the end of Brandon Stokley's Denver career.

The Texans extended restricted free agent tenders to WR David Anderson, TE Joel Dreessen, OT Rashad Butler, and DE Earl Cochran.
Anderson spent time as both the No. 3 and No. 4 receiver last season, but he's going to have to bypass Andre' Davis and hold off Jacoby Jones to solidify a consistent role in the offense.
