Matt Cassel was sacked just eight times in the Chiefs' last six games, compared to 37 times in the first 10.
Jamaal Charles also averaged 6.0 YPC in the final eight contests. K.C. will add talent to its offensive line for 2010, but found a potential building block in RT Ryan O'Callaghan to go with LT Branden Albert and LG Brian Waters. The nucleus will gain some valuable continuity with a full offseason together.

Chiefs RT Ryan O'Callaghan has been listed as questionable for Week 15.
O'Callaghan has been a bright spot for the Chiefs and has really impressed coach Todd Haley after the team claimed him from the Patriots in September. If he were to miss Sunday's game against the Browns, Ike Ndukwe would likely fill in.

Chiefs coach Todd Haley sounds like he may have finally found a right tackle he likes in Patriots castoff Ryan O'Callaghan.
"Our right tackle ... was a bright spot," Haley said. "He showed some signs that he might want to stick around." The team has listed four different starters at right tackle since training camp, and all have been pushed around.

The Chiefs have promoted Ryan O'Callaghan into the starting lineup at right tackle.
The musical chairs continue. Week 3 starter Ike Ndukwe is now the backup RT. The Chiefs have served up eight sacks so far -- seventh most in the NFL.

Chiefs claimed OT Ryan O'Callaghan off waivers from the Patriots.
O'Callaghan was good enough to start seven games for the Pats between '06 and '07, but missed all of 2008 with a shoulder injury. He'll immediately push Damion McIntosh, Barry Richardson, and Ike Ndukwe at right tackle in K.C.

Patriots waived OT Ryan O'Callaghan and S/WR Ray Ventrone.
O'Callaghan didn't have a bad camp, but second-round pick Sebastian Vollmer passed him to be New England's No. 3 offensive tackle. O'Callaghan could probably start for the Chiefs right away. Ventrone was a special teamer.
